Insurance & Payment

What Care Costs, and How to Pay for It

Cost is often the first question, and it should be. Here is what we accept, what care costs if you are paying on your own, and what to do if cost is standing in the way. If anything here is unclear, call us at 201.281.5936 and we will walk through it with you.

What We Accept

Insurance We Work With

01

NJ FamilyCare and New Jersey Medicaid

Accepted now for outpatient therapy and specialty care, for children, adolescents, and adults.

02

New Jersey's Children's System of Care

For young people under 21 receiving in-home support (IIC and BA), care is funded through the System of Care and accessed via PerformCare.

03

Commercial Insurance

We are actively expanding coverage with major carriers, including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare, both in progress.

Coverage changes. Call us and we will confirm exactly where your plan stands before you commit to anything.

How It Works

Coverage Depends on the Kind of Care

This is the part that confuses most families, so here it is plainly.

01

Outpatient therapy and specialty care

Works like most healthcare. We bill NJ FamilyCare, New Jersey Medicaid, or your commercial plan. If you have no coverage, a sliding scale is available. This applies to children and adults alike.

02

Youth & Teen In-Home Support (IIC & BA)

Funded through New Jersey's Children's System of Care, which serves young people up to age 21. Access runs through PerformCare at 1-877-652-7624, and we help you through that process.

Paying Without Insurance

Self-pay and Sliding Scale

If you do not have insurance, or you prefer not to use it, you can pay directly. These are our standard rates.

Initial Assessment
$150
about 60 minutes
Individual therapy
$150/session
45 to 50 minutes
Family therapy
$150/session
50-60 minutes
Sliding Scale
A sliding scale is available for individuals and families for whom these rates are a barrier. It is based on household income and size, not on whether you are already a patient. Ask about it during intake. Cost should never be the reason care does not happen.
Good Faith Estimate

If you are uninsured or paying without using insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost before you begin. We provide one in writing on request, and we can walk you through it.
No Need to Worry

We Confirm Everything Before You Begin

When you reach out, we verify your coverage, explain what you can expect to pay, and answer whatever is still unclear. Nothing is scheduled until you know where you stand.
