About In-Home Care

Two Kinds of Support,
Delivered at Home

Our in-home program includes two distinct services, each referred separately through New Jersey's Children's System of Care. Some young people receive one. Many receive both, working together. Whichever fits, care happens in the environment where challenges actually show up, which means skills are observed, supported, and built in real context rather than in a clinical room down the hall.

Behavioral Assistance (BA)

A certified Behavioral Assistant works with your child under a licensed clinician's supervision, reinforcing positive behaviors and practicing skills inside daily routines. A distinct service, referred through PerformCare.

In-Home Behavioral Health (IIC)

A licensed clinician provides therapy in the home: assessment, counseling, and skill building in the environment where challenges actually show up. Delivered by licensed therapists, referred through PerformCare.

Who This Is For

Support That Surrounds the Whole Family

We work with children and adolescents in the New Jersey System of Care whose behavioral, emotional, or social needs are most visible at home, in school, or in the community. Our clinicians and Behavioral Assistants do not work in isolation. We coordinate with families, schools, and community resources so the support a young person receives is consistent across every part of their life. Spanish-speaking clinicians are available.

Referral to Care

Reaching out doesn't commit you to anything. We're here to understand your situation and explore your options, even if the right fit isn't with us. There is no wrong way to start, and absolutely no pressure.

Start through PerformCare

Both IIC and BA are accessed through the PerformCare gateway and referred separately. Contact us and we coordinate directly with the assigned Care Management Organization.

We confirm eligibility and authorization

Our team coordinates the authorization for the specific service line with PerformCare and the CMO, and confirms the details with you.

We assign and begin care

We match the young person with  the right clinician or Behavioral Assistant, begin care in the home, and keep you informed.
