New Jersey’s Premier Mental Health Facility

Every Kind of Care We Offer, in One Place

Behavioral health is not one-size-fits-all. Some people need weekly therapy. Some need a clinician in their home. Some need care focused on a specific experience, like trauma or anxiety. Here is everything we offer, and how to tell what fits.

Three teenagers sitting in chairs in a room, engaged in conversation; one girl wears glasses and a prosthetic arm, the girl in the middle wears a mint green hoodie, and the boy on the right wears a blue plaid shirt and tan pants.
Group therapy session with adults seated in a circle in a bright room; a woman with a clipboard and pen listens attentively to a young person smiling and speaking.
Three women seated indoors in a casual setting, engaged in a thoughtful group discussion, with one woman in a brown shirt leaning forward attentively.
A woman with dark brown hair reclining on a gray couch uses a laptop to attend an online class featuring a female instructor speaking and gesturing with a pencil.
A toddler kneeling on a bench playing with a toy train set with horse figurines, while an adult sitting on a nearby window seat looks at a smartphone.
A group of six diverse teenagers sitting closely on an outdoor bench, smiling and laughing together in a friendly and relaxed urban setting.
A couple sitting closely on a light-colored couch in a modern living room, focused on a laptop on a small table in front of them.
Man and woman wearing white lab coats sitting and talking in a bright modern office with large windows and plants.
Female caregiver in blue scrubs smiling and talking with a senior woman wearing glasses and a teal shirt, sitting at a wooden table with paperwork and white mugs.
Happy couple outdoors with the man hugging the woman from behind as she holds the handlebars of a scooter, both smiling joyfully on a city sidewalk.
Two young women warmly hugging in a supportive group meeting, surrounded by smiling and attentive peers seated in a circle in a bright, informal room.
Four young adults sitting on blue and yellow bean bags in a casual, well-lit workspace; two women in the foreground are talking and smiling, while a woman with glasses reads a tablet and a man with headphones relaxes in the background.
Understanding Your Options

Two Questions:
How Much Care and What Kind

Choosing care comes down to two questions: how much support you need, and what kind. You do not have to answer either one perfectly before you call. If you already know what you are looking for, the sections below will take you there.

How much support you need

Testimonials

What Our Partners Are Saying

"When I refer a family, I know someone will actually call them back. Mercedes Health confirms within a day or two, every time, and they tell me what happened next instead of leaving me to wonder."
Laura Serene
Care Manager, Bergen's Promise
"What I appreciate most is that I'm not choosing between IIC and outpatient for a student. If their needs change, they stay with the same team instead of starting over somewhere new."
Jonathan Savior
Counselor, Newark Public Schools
"I refer families who need Spanish-speaking clinicians more than anywhere else, and Mercedes Health has never made that an afterthought. It's built into how they work."
Megan Rainier
Coordinator, Bergen Pediatrics
