Behavioral & Developmental Support

Understanding the Behavior Is How We Change It

Behavior is communication. Whether it is ADHD, a developmental difference, or something harder to name, our clinicians help you understand what the behavior is saying, and build a plan that works at home, at school, and everywhere in between.

About This Service

Every Behavior
Has a Story

When a child acts out, shuts down, or struggles with limits, the behavior is rarely the whole story. It is often the surface of something underneath: a need that is not being met, a skill that has not developed yet, or a stress the child does not have words for. Our behavioral and developmental support starts by understanding what is driving the behavior, not just responding to it. We work directly with the child, and just as importantly, we equip the adults around them, because lasting change happens in the environments where a child actually lives.

Who This Is For

Support for the Child and Everyone Around Them

We work with children and adolescents navigating ADHD, developmental differences, difficulty at school, big reactions, and struggles with limits and transitions. For young people who qualify, this support can be delivered at home through our in-home program, where clinicians and Behavioral Assistants work in the environment where the behavior actually happens.

Coverage & Access

Ready to Begin?

We accept NJ FamilyCare and New Jersey Medicaid, and we are expanding commercial coverage. A sliding scale is available if cost is a barrier, and we confirm exactly where you stand before anything is scheduled. For children and adolescents who qualify for in-home support, services are delivered through New Jersey's Children's System of Care via PerformCare. Spanish-speaking support is available.
